About The Role:

Intermedia is looking for its next Sr. DevOps Engineer to join a growing and high-pace environment, while working within a great team culture that supports each other. In this role, you will be a part of an emerging AI Services team that works on the integration of AI/ML technologies into existing products that Intermedia delivers as well work on new features and products for the market. We are working in fast paced environment, which is quickly evolving and requires this Sr. DevOps Engineer to build and maintain underlying infrastructure and services. Additionally, this role and team will be responsible for bridging the gap between Data Scientists and the Operations team to ensure a smooth deployment and management of ML models in production environments. If you are looking to further expand, build and challenge yourself in the career of a DevOps Engineer – this role is for you!

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and maintain ML model deployment and software CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor and manage the performance of ML models in production.
  • Implement automated processes for continuous integration, testing, and delivery of ML and end product systems, including release management
  • Ensure the scalability and reliability of ML and end product infrastructure, including monitoring
  • Optimize ML and end product systems for performance and efficiency.
  • Manage data pipelines and storage for ML workloads
  • Infrastructure and deployment WIKIfication
  • Incident management for both ML and end-product infrastructure

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong understanding ML development cycle, MLOPS process and model performance monitoring
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD (YAML-based pipelines)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell
  • Strong understanding of data engineering and architecture, including experience with non-SQL databases
  • Excellent problem-solving skills including usage of monitoring systems for troubleshooting and reliability improvements
  • Strong understanding of containerization, and orchestration including Docker and Kubernetes, t-shooting of their setup and fixing outages
  • Proficiency in Linux OS
  • Basic knowledge of Windows OS
  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP(s) knowledge is priority

  • CI via Azure DevOps (Docker images, Helm Charts)
  • CD via Octopus (native steps and self-made script steps)
  • Clusters apps rely on:
    • ElasticSearch
    • Redis
    • Azure CosmosDB
    • RabbitMQ
    • Vault (HashiCorp)
    • DBs for vectors (RediSearch, Weaviate, Pinecone)
  • Monitoring:
    • Prometheus
    • ELK
    • Azure Log Analytics
  • Azure Cloud

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with ML frameworks
    • OpenAI API
    • LangChain
    • Hugging Face
  • Basic experience with (MS)SQL and RabbitMQ
  • Configuration management (Ansible, Chef)
  • Experience with IIS and Nginx
  • Knowledge how t-shoot WEB app related errors (5xx, 4xx errors, exceptions troubleshooting)
  • Knowledge how to setup your infrastructure in a cloud (Azure, AWS, etc)
  • IaaC experience (Terraform, etc)
  • Basic experience with Hashicorp products
