About The Role:

Intermedia is seeking to find our newest Business Systems Analyst to join a high pace & motivated team. This ideal candidate will need to be experienced, dynamic, self-motivated & hands-on individual to help drive the strategy, implementation and enhancement of technology initiatives in support of our financial systems. Reporting to the Sr. Director - Financial Systems, this role will support Intermedia’s mission by analyzing and implementing end-to-end technologies utilized by the Accounting and Finance organizations with the goal of delivering business process efficiency and effectiveness.

In this role you will collaborate across Intermedia functions and support the complex business processes and systems design, configuration, and architecture that revolve around our accounting and finance technology platforms. This is a highly visible, cross functional role and requires a mix of accounting and finance process knowledge, IT orientation, strong organizational skills and excellent communication and presentation skills. The ideal candidate possesses a familiarity with both financial business process and IT operations.

What you will be doing:

  • Support efforts to create, maintain and implement a financial systems roadmap
  • Work with Finance and IT/Product teams to review and understand business needs and recommend process improvement and financial systems solutions to address these needs.
  • Critically evaluate the business need for system enhancements and effectively manage the prioritization and approval of proposed projects considering the overall impact on the business.
  • Work with the business users to appropriately justify the need for IT enhancements or new applications that will increase productivity, improve the financial functions and achieve the goals of the Finance department as it relates to system capabilities and cost
  • Champion financial digital initiatives to improve and enhance effective and efficient systems and processes.
  • Directly support and deliver a wide range of systems enhancement initiatives and reporting capabilities
  • Partner with the Accounting, Finance, and Procurement functions and the IT function to lead key improvements for the financial, procurement, and reporting processes
  • Planning, process mapping, configuration/development, testing, security, training and support user acceptance testing
  • Provide technical and functional support in production and non-production environments, plan for future versions administration, problem resolution
  • Evaluate project complexity, assumptions, constraints and dependencies
  • Develop a work-plan to manage own and project activities, tasks, deliverables, and schedule
  • Develop effective communication plan to meet project and stakeholders needs
  • Plan/manage requirements approval and change
  • Identify and communicate risks and issues that may require changes to plans or scope

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Finance or related fields
  • 3+ Years’ of work experience in defining, scoping, and managing technology initiatives from a Finance and Accounting perspective required
  • 1-2 Years’ experience with project management or several completed cycles of successful hands-on financial system implementations
  • Critical thinking skills to make assessments and provide solutions to problems
  • Deadline driven, self-motivated, and technically savvy
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills
  • Superior time management skills
  • Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills; experience using pivot tables and formulas
  • ERP experience: NetSuite is strongly desired with knowledge of Java Script being a plus
  • Coupa / Adaptive knowledge is a plus
  • Working Knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with creating advanced SQL queries a plus

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with database management, SQL, and ERP systems
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in ML, such as Python or R
  • Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques
